Berwyn General Store was born in Berwyn Heights, Maryland — a small, tight-knit community just outside Washington DC where neighbors still wave and everyone knows the good spots.

We started building boxes because we love great products and we believe gifts should mean something. Not in a precious, overthought way — just in the simple sense that when you hand someone a Berwyn box, they should feel like you actually thought about them. Because you did.

Every item we carry is sourced directly from wholesale partners and small makers we genuinely believe in. We cook with these ingredients, burn these candles, wear these socks, and keep these snacks in our own kitchen. If we wouldn't give it to our own family, it doesn't make the cut.

The croissant lamp came from a late night idea and a Baltimore bakery. The garden box came from our own backyard. The girl dinner box came from a Tuesday night with a tin of Fishwife and no interest in cooking. Everything here has a story — and we think that's the whole point.
